MG

MG. The roadster of the stars.
A car that Cary Grant and Marilyn Monroe drove must be something special!

With MG, British elegance and Hollywood glamour came together. Probably the quintessentially English roadster is still so popular in America today. Because what Marilyn liked couldn't be that wrong.

But it doesn't take Hollywood stars to convince car connoisseurs of a classic MG. The typical British beauty of form and its powerful roaring engine, as well as the lusty handling speak for themselves: MG is the image of a British roadster in its purest form.

But we don't need to tell you all that. You drive an MG classic car and you know why.

At BASTUCK you'll find everything you need to make your MG shine on the road again.

    The MG brand

MG's golden era began in the post-war period and ended in 1980. Like Austin-Healey, Jaguar and Triumph, MG was closely associated with motor sport and primarily produced sports cars. Many MG Roadster models were called classics off the production line, partly because of their great popularity, but also because of their old, but therefore simple and proven, technology.

Like the other legendary British car brands Triumph, Austin-Healey and Jaguar, MG's fate was to be absorbed into the British Layland Motor Corporation in the 1980s, discontinued and later sold as a brand name.

But just like all the other British roadster manufacturers, MG was given a second lease of life as a classic car. To this day, the brand is very popular among collectors and can be found in large numbers at classic car meetings and historic races. A well-maintained MG is also a solid investment.
