CLASSIC TEAM BASTUCK IS EXITED FOR DUNE COURSE

  • Noordzee Cup Zandvoort from 31. August - 01. September 2019
  • Classic Team BASTUCK participating with two vehicles
  • Great anticipation of a lot of customers and friends

From the 31st of August to the 1st of September, the Classic Team BASTUCK will be competing again. During this late summer weekend, it will be visiting the popular dune course in Zandvoort, which was always impressive with its special flair thanks to its location near the North Sea. The team will be competing with a Triumph Spitfire and a Marcos 1800 GT.

At the 44. Noordzee Cup Zandvoort, the Classic Team BASTUCK is finally going to compete again in the Triumph Competition & British HTGT in Zandvoort. “We are very excited and there are two reasons for that: We are big fans of the course in Zandvoort, which brings its own challenges. What is more, we are back in the Triumph Competition and are going to meet a lot of friends again. Best conditions for a great classic race weekend”, says CEO Rainer Bastuck.

Bastuck himself will be competing in his Marcos 1800 GT, an English sports car classic, which has a chassis that consists of glued plywood plates and in total more than 400 individual parts. Donate Bastuck will be competing in her dark green 1963 Triumph Spitfire. “Sadly, Bernhard Wagner cannot be there due to an injury, so that we will only be travelling to the North Sea coast with two vehicles“, Bastuck explains, who will be competing in Division 2, just like his wife.

For the duo, the race weekend starts on Saturday with a half an hour qualifying at 9:30 am. The first 45-minute race is planned for 2:45 pm on Saturday afternoon. The Sunday consists of the second 45-minute race, which starts at 9:00 am.
