SPITFIRE, HERALD AND MG MIDGET 1500: Valve cover gasket made of silicone
- reusable and durable
- temperature resistant from -40°C to 200°C
- for original sheet metal and aluminium valve covers
We are expanding our range for classic Triumph with a high-quality and very useful article. For better sealing and easier mounting of the valve cover we have developed a reusable and accurately fitting valve cover gasket made of very high-quality silicone, which is now available.
It is oil and petrol resistant and temperature resistant from -40°C to 200°C. Furthermore, the valve cover gasket can be used for both sheet metal and aluminium valve covers.
The installation is very easy: With some silicone gasket lube (Art. No. MD17SPT) the seal can be fixed to the valve cover. With original sheet metal valve covers, make sure that the rounded side is inserted into the groove of the valve cover. When fixing to an aluminium valve cover, the flat side should face the valve cover. If the valve cover gasket is fixed, the valve cover can be mounted without any problems.
