BASTUCK sports exhausts in the Volkswagen Ameo Cup in India

BASTUCK are the exclusive suppliers throughout the field of sports exhausts in the new Volkswagen Ameo Cup in India. All Ameo race cars entered in the race series by Volkswagen Motorsport India are fitted with the stainless steel exhausts designed and manufactured by BASTUCK in Saarland, Germany. A total of 20 drivers had been fighting for the title in India over 4 racing weekends.

BASTUCK have been developing and manufacturing high-quality sports exhausts, also for motor sport purposes, in Lebach, Saarland since 1991. Volkswagen Motorsport India is now taking advantage of the years of experience gained by BASTUCK from their long-standing participation in various forms of motor sport and from the experience as a technical development partner. All the cars racing in the new Volkswagen Ameo Cup therefore rely upon the performance of our high-value BASTUCK sports exhausts. Volkswagen Motorsport India has actively participated in circuit racing in India for eight years now and has recently created a new challenge with the launch of the Volkswagen Ameo Cup.

The „Single make“- Cup gives 20 young talented drivers the chance to win. Good reliability and maximum performance are essential. Rainer Bastuck, the owner of BASTUCK and a passionate racing driver himself says ‘it is important for young drivers to be able to concentrate on their driving and to have belief in the performance and reliability of their race car. This is exactly what our sports exhausts provide and we are happy that we can contribute a small part to the success of the new Cup’, Bastuck says - who implemented a further international project from Saarland by equipping the Volkswagen Ameo Cup.

Sirish Vissa, Head of Motorsport India is delighted with the German-Indian cooperation. The Ameo Cup has been running since the beginning of this year under the stewardship of Volkswagen Motorsport India and Sirish Vissa. Meanwhile the season’s finale in Greater Noida and thus the Cup’s debut season is finished.
