BASTUCK Motorsport Partnerships: Full throttle into the season

  • season is about to start
  • partnerships in rallying, racing and historic motorsports
  • focus on testing new BASTUCK products

BASTUCK and motorsport have belonged together almost since the company was founded. For the Saarland-based company, the focus of its activities is on optimising and testing its own products under the toughest conditions, in addition to the classic goals of marketing.

BASTUCK has committed itself to promising motorsport partnerships for the 2021 season and is involved in rallying, circuit racing and historic motorsport.

On the international stage: Fabio Schwarz
The 16-year-old youngster Fabio Schwarz is the son of the former WRC driver Armin Schwarz and will participate this year in the Baltic Rally Cup in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, among others, with a Ford Fiesta Rally4 and Rally2. "Fabio was born into motorsport and, at just 16 years old, he already has a lot of experience. We are happy to accompany his development and to support his entry into international rallying," summarises company owner Rainer Bastuck.

Nürburgring Endurance Series: Racing on the Nordschleife
BASTUCK has been supporting the NLS as a series partner for a long time. In Germany's most popular endurance series, a wide variety of vehicles from almost all manufacturers compete. "We very much appreciate the long-term partnership with the NLS. The colourfully mixed starting field, in which professional teams compete just as much as ambitious privateers, fascinates fans and drivers alike and is also a reason why we stand by the NLS as a partner," Bastuck states. In addition, the races on the Nordschleife known as the "Green Hell" are used to test the BASTUCK sports exhaust systems under racing conditions. "Under racing conditions, much more is demanded of the sports exhaust systems than in regular road use. The knowledge from motorsport has always been very valuable for us. We also use the knowledge gained from motorsport for the continuous further development of our serial production," Bastuck adds.
In the 2021 season, the NLS will be broadcast via livestream, so that fans who are currently not allowed to come to the tracks to watch will have the NLS delivered directly to their screens at home.

By Tradition: Partnership with Triumph Competition & British HTGT
BASTUCK is not only associated with the CLASSIC Team BASTUCK but also as a series partner with the Triumph Competition & British HTGT. It is the official race series of the TR-Register Deutschland e.V. and an integral part of the historic circuit calendar. Both in Germany and in neighbouring countries, various English classics compete in numerous races. "For us, supporting historic racing is a logical consequence of our company structure and, of course, has grown out of our company history," summarises Rainer Bastuck. "We are constantly expanding our product range for British classics and also use the opportunity to test new products in the Triumph Competition & British HTGT. In this way, we gather empirical values, which in turn have a positive influence on our new developments in the CLASSIC sector."
